Receiving The Holy Spirit To Become Filled With Joy

【Testimony of Receiving the Holy Spirit: Believing in Jesus to restore normal mental condition, receiving the Holy Spirit to become filled with joy】

In the name of the Lord Jesus to share the testimony:

My dear family in Jesus, my name is Ronggui Guo. I live in Putian City, Fujian Province, China. I was born on September 7th 1967, and I had my grade one in primary school when I was 9 years old. My grandparents were relatively wealthy in the village, they put ten yuan (Chinese currency) everywhere. I stole their money many times. Over time, I got this bad habit of stealing and then became a habitual thief.

Not long after I got married, my friends and I stole all the valuables from a grocery store. After the incident, the local Public Security bureau handed the case over to the procuratorate and I was sentenced to one year and six months in jail. Later, my family looked for a relationship, and then I got a suspended sentence and went home.

Not long after I went home from my suspended sentence, I joined some friends who lived in Putian City to engage in robbery activities, and I was arrested by the Public Security. Because I had experience with a crime before, I knew how to deny my crime. One month later, the Public Security had to release me because they could not convict my crime.

Not long after that, my wife appealed to the court for a divorce.

I was 33 years old when I got divorced, and I kept smiling wryly. Over time, I started to have a mental disorder, and then I ran around, sometimes looking for food in the garbage heap, and sleeping in the garbage heap.

Later, I was found by my relatives and sent to Putian City Cikang Psychiatric Hospital for treatment. After being discharged from the hospital, I was hospitalized again. When I was sent to the hospital for the third time, I jumped off the wall and ran out.

After I ran out, I went to Jintong Huang’s house. I used to come to his tea shop before. Jintong Huang was a Christian, and he preached the gospel of Jesus to me, and also took me to his church for worship. After some time, I received drop-water baptism.

Time flies, I had been believing in Jesus for six years and eight months. Although I had heard many teachings about God and my mind is relatively stable, I still had one disease not changed, that was, my body had often trembled since I was a child, which was very uncomfortable.

One day three years ago, I got to know a friend named Yanyan on WeChat. And I knew from her that she was a believer in True Jesus Church in Putian city. When she knew I believed in Jesus, she exhorted me to come to True Jesus Church to hear the true gospel.

So I went to True Jesus Church many times to keep the Sabbath with a half-believing attitude. During this time period, I also heard the testimony of receiving the Holy Spirit shared by the believers in True Jesus Church, which also made me very eager to receive the Holy Spirit. Sister Yanyan told me that if I wanted to receive the Holy Spirit, I also needed to take the correct living water baptism for the remission of the sins.

About three days ago I told sister Yanyan that I wanted to be baptized. She was very happy to hear that. Yesterday at noon time, she brought more than a dozen brothers and sisters in True Jesus Church to my home to conduct a living water baptism for me. The sea is not far from my home. When we came back from the baptism in the sea, they asked for the Holy Spirit together for me during the prayer, but I didn't receive it yet.

When I woke up this morning, I prayed for Holy Spirit myself. In less than half an hour, I suddenly found that there was a warm stream in my stomach that was sinking all the time. I felt more and more comfortable and happy, and I could immediately speak in tongues.

I was so touched that I felt like I was about to cry. I went to Jintong Huang’s tea shop with joy, and I told him that I received the Holy Spirit. There were many people in his tea shop drinking tea. When I saw them, I felt more enthusiastic than before because today I didn’t tremble at all, but previously  I always trembled when I saw a lot of people.

I am so touched and so grateful to have the brethren from True Jesus Church to baptize me. This is the incomparable love from the Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah thank the Lord! Thank the Lord Jesus for His grace to me!
